Welcome to the Structural Biology groups at the NKI. The Nederland's Cancer Institute (NKI - Nederlands Kanker Instituut) hosts two Structural Biology groups. Our aim is to provide understanding of structural aspects of errors in cell biology that lead to the development of cancer. Our main tool is protein crystallography, the best technique for studying structure at atomic resolution.
The two research groups,
Anastassis Perrakis' Group
and
Titia K. Sixma's Group,
are located in the new research building of the NKI (B8).
